In class activities:
- Journal Writing- Tell me about the places you have lived. Use a lot of detail.
- Math- Review of multiplication and division
- Literacy/Treasures Program- Centers packets; spelling pre-test (we will usually do the pre-test on Monday)
- Writing Prompt- students watch a short, incomplete, story, and finish the second half of it
Homework/Class Business
- Read 30 minutes
- Parent signature in planner
- Type "Devin" paper (optional)
- Planner check tomorrow (to ensure that students are getting planners checked by parents)
- $30 donation (if possible)
- School Pictures September 21st
- Spelling Test tomorrow! (spelling words are in their planners-there are 20 words)
- Centers packets are due tomorrow. There were some students who were asked to take them home and work on them. I will give them 40 more minutes in class to complete the packet.
- Math HW-division worksheet
**I also sent flyers home with the students regarding after school sports programs such as Junior Jazz. The flyers should be in the students backpacks or planners.**
