Today we talked about static electricity in our class, and I gave each student a balloon. They rubbed the balloons on their heads, and then stuck them to various things around the classroom. It got a little crazy, but it only lasted 5 minutes, and the kids had a great time.

Homework/Class Business:

• Read 30 minutes
• Fill out Reading Log EVERY night
• Math HW
• Spelling Bee prelims are this week. We will be having the prelims of the Spelling Bee in our classroom this coming Thursday. They will take place immediately after lunch. Please help your child be at school that day if they want to participate in the Spelling Bee. It will be very fun!
